Weg and Myers, located in Federal Plaza in lower Manhattan, is en- gaged primarily in the area of insurance law representing insureds
in suits against insurance companies on questions of policy coverage as
well as property damage cases.

DENNIS T. D’ANTONIO has been lead trial counsel for Weg and Myers for 25 years and has tried insurance cases in state and federal courts in
New York; Connecticut; New Jersey; Florida; Vermont and Minnesota, and
has recovered in excess of One Billion Dollars on behalf of policyholders.
Mr. D’Antonio was born in New York, New York June 8, 1955; admitted to
Bar 1982 New York and U. S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts
of New York; 1983, U. S. District Court; Northern District of New York and
U. S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; 2004, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth
Circuit; Admitted to Bar Pennsylvania, 1989; Education: Boston College
(B.S. 1979); New York Law School (J.D., 1982); Member: N. Y.S. (Member, Insurance Committee) and American Bar Associations; N. Y. County Lawyers
Association; The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. D’Antonio
is also a member of the Who’s Who of Practicing Attorneys, was a faculty
member of the Sobelsohn Insurance Institute teaching Insurance Law, and
an Adjunct Professor of Insurance Law at New York Law School. Additionally, Mr. D’Antonio is the past Chairman of the Harlan Fellowship Committee at New York Law School. He is a former Executive Director and General
Counsel of the New York Public Adjusters Association, Inc. Mr. D’Antonio
has been a featured speaker at the American Bar Association’s annual mid-year meeting in addition to being a guest speaker at Lorman Education
Services’ seminars entitled “New York Insurance Law” and “First Party
coverage Litigation in New York”, the Appraisers Association of America’s
National Conference and the New York State Bar Association’s seminar
entitled “Residential and Commercial Insurance Concerns – Advanced Issues”. Additionally, Mr. D’Antonio was a featured speaker at a World Trade
Center related symposium sponsored by New York University’s Stern School
of Business. Mr. D’Antonio is also the co-author of an article entitled “The
Innocent Co-Insured Doctrine -- A Practical Guide for Practitioners”, which
was published in the American Bar Association Journal.
JOSHUA L. MALLIN, born in New York, New York August 24, 1959;
admitted to the New York Bar 1985; United States District Court for the
Southern and Eastern Districts of New York 1987; U.S. Court of Appeals,
Fourth Circuit, 2004; Education: University of California at Los Angeles (B.A. 1981); Brooklyn Law School (J.D. 1984); President, Moot Court
Honor Society 1983-1984; Assistant District Attorney, Kings County District Attorney’s Office 1984-1987; Member: Association of the Bar of the
City of New York (Member, Committee on Admission to the Bar); New
York County Lawyers Association; New York State Bar Association and
American Bar Association (Member, Committee on Tort and Insurance
Practice and Committee on Litigation). Mr. Mallin has been a featured
speaker at the mid-year meeting of the Tort and Insurance Practice
Committee of the American Bar Association and has co-authored two
articles, “Current Trends in First Party Insurance Law” and “The Innocent Co-Insured Doctrine -- A Practical Guide for Practitioners”. Mr.
Mallin also sits as an Arbitrator in the Small Claim Part of the Civil Court
of the City of New York.
WILLIAM H. PARASH, born in Southhampton, New York December
18, 1963; admitted to the Bar 1992 New York and U.S. District Court,
Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; admitted to Bar 1991Con-
necticut; Education: University of Richmond (B.A. 1986); St. Johns University School of Law (J.D. 1991); Member New York and American Bar
Associations; New York State Trial Lawyers Association; National Fire
Protection Association; Mr. Parash has also completed coursework with
the National Association of Fire investigators, Chicago, Illinois.
Additionally, the firm and its members have had decisions reported
in the New York Law Journal, the National Law Journal, the New York
Times and the Insurance Advocate.
